Creating an EOS account from a PC or Mac using bloks.io
In this forum topic, we will cover the steps to create an EOS account from a PC or Mac using bloks.io.
1. Ensure you have access to EOS funds either through your favorite crypto exchange or a friend.
2. Go to https://bloks.io, choose Wallet at the top, choose Create Account on the left.
3. Under Account Name, enter a 12-character name using lowercase letters from a to z and numbers from 1 to 5 only.
4. Ensure the account name is valid and save it somewhere safe.
5. Copy the new private key associated with this new account to the clipboard by using the copy icon and save it somewhere safe. This is your backup. NEVER SHARE THIS KEY.
6. In order to officially create this new account, you must send EOS to it from an exchange or a friend using the instructions provided lower in step 1. You will be sending a small amount of EOS funds to the recipient: signupeoseos using the Memo provided which can be copied to the clipboard using the green Copy Memo button.
7. Once the transaction is confirmed on the EOS network, the EOS account will be successfully created and ready to be used.
